Ferret Rescue

The Best Little Rabbit, Rodent & Ferret House is a non-profit animal welfare organization dedicated to:

The rescue and then adoption of ferrets who have lost their home, through no fault of their own.
The education of persons interested in sharing their homes with a ferret.

We provide veterinary care for our rescued ferrets; such as adrenal surgeries, teeth cleaning, vaccinations and of course spay/neuter. We also micro-chip our ferrets.

We try to find them permanent homes with caring individuals, who will provide them with an excellent diet, exercise, vet care when necessary and plenty of love and attention. As a no-kill shelter, if a ferret is not adopted, we attempt to locate a foster care situation for them or will continue to house them at our shelter for the remainder of their lives.

If you are interested in adopting one of our ferrets, you must come in to our shelter to meet us and the ferret you are interested in. Initial home visit.

We only do adoptions within the Seattle and Puget Sound area. If interested in a particular animal, you must come in to the shelter to meet one another.

Wild Weasels - Availability: Adopt Me!

NOT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION! These are photos of wild weasels, who were turned into a shelter as "baby ferrets". Every year we receive numerous calls from individuals who insist that these wild animals are ferrets. Please take a close look at these weasels. Don't interact with them, they are wild animals, and can be quite nasty!
